The great fidget house track Something Went Wrong has been signed on Cherrydrop Records UK. It will be officially released on a EP in December 2011 together with other artists.

Since 1995 TecGen is working as DJ in several german clubs and this mostly in the area next to Berlin. In the past years he had international bookings e.g. in Palma de Mallorca. Actually, the style of his DJ sets goes from latin house over seventies classics to disco house.

But as you will find out on this website, he's not only a DJ playing somebody else its records. Since 1997 he is working as producer and from time to time he releases tracks for everybody to download. During the recent years, he made quite some tunes in various music styles. Since a long time he's fond of hand-made house music with soul, beautiful vocals and acustic instruments like guitars, bass, trumpets, organs, pianos and lots of percussions.

How does producers create there music? Here he gives you an little glance inside the place where DJ TecGen creates his tracks.

Since nowadays very powerful computers are available, you can do many things with virtual instruments and sounds generated in realtime on your computer. Thus gives you the opportunity to do great music without needing so much real devices. DJ TecGen needs to have an fast and simple working flow when he wants to create a new track. When he have an idea he want to make really fast a track or sound he has in mind. He don't want care about stupid computer things. Actually, he uses for all of his newer tracks the sequencer, effects and instruments of Ableton Live Suite , an Akai APC40 , the great Quasimidi Sirus synthesizer and its Yamaha A4000 sampler.
